Dr. Erişen is accomplished researcher in the field of Material Processing Engineering. He completed his PhD at the University of Science and Technology of China from 2017 to 2022, following a MSc in Material Science from Nanjing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics (2013-2016) and a BSc in Material Science and Engineering from Anadolu University (2008-2013).
His research interests lie in the areas of biodegradable metallic biomaterials, bioactive coatings for medical devices, and nanomaterials synthesis and characterization. His work has led to significant advancements in these fields, as evidenced by his numerous publications.
Erişen’s notable works include studies on the biosafety and biodegradation of AZ31B magnesium alloy carotid artery stents, the development of a novel chitosan and polydopamine interlinked bioactive coating for metallic biomaterials, and the synthesis and characterization of chitosan-silver nanoparticle composite coatings on titanium substrates, among others.
